I'm a photographer. I shoot in the studio a lot, and I enjoy getting technical from time to time.

The photography industry is full of marketing and hype, and it can make it difficult to judge between products and to determine the correct tool for any particular job.

I try to cut through the hype and figure out what's what with camera gear, and I recently decided that it might be interesting to blog my thoughts on this topic.
